.22 Hornet, .222 Rem, .22 LR & .22 short, .223, .270, .45 ACP, etc. and my favorite traditional muzzle loaders (shotgun,s rifles, pistols). Most of my shooting's here on the farm. Troublesome critters, steel targets, and clay birds. Too many guns sitting in safes for years, no clubs nearby and all my old buds are ..dead. So .... mostly just a few kept handy when groundhogs, raccoons, possums, and rabbits become problems. On the rare occasions someone comes to hunt or shoot, we dig out other guns, but that's only a few days a year.
The ones I keep handy are all sighted in - modern rifles out to 380 yards, pistols at 50. Muzzle loaders vary according to caliber. Steyr Mannlicher .222, Remington "Mini Mauser"22 Hornet for groundhogs. Assorted pistols for various occasions. Live trapped problem critters get the .22 short HP's. Recently acquired a Glock 43 which is requiring a bit of practice to get used to, sighted in, and finding it's ammo preference.
