At what point does the accuracy start to dip enough for you to think about replacing a barrel? Also, how many rounds did you fire before making that call? Please share the caliber and its intended use too!
Some cartridges are hard on barrels but for the normal hunting rifle, if you don’t get them too hot the average person will never shoot one out. Some high intensity cartridges can trash a barrel in a few hundred rounds if you get them hot.
