I'll probably be flamed for this… a smith and Wesson new departure…aka s&w safety hammerless…aka s&w lemonsqueezer! It's an antique chambered for .38 S&W and I have some meaty BP loads for it. It's slick, small, double action, and won't go off in a pocket nor snag due to its internal hammer and safety design. It's a very forward thinking design for it having been thought up in 1887. I believe mine is a 2nd model and made in the 1890s. All I gotta say is that it was designed to be used as a CCW and as far as I'm concerned it's every bit as lethal as it was back in the day.
