What's your go-to revolver for daily carry, and what makes it your top choice? I'm eager to hear insights from those of you who actually rely on wheelguns for everyday use—what features and characteristics have proven effective in practical situations?

I carry a S&W 642. It is light, hammerless, easy to conceal and draw. I can fire it accurately at 25' so I am confident it will do the job. I carry a .38 Special + P load. Fortunately, I have not had to use it in any practical situations.

I carry S&W 442, just the black variant of the 642. It's quite adequate for self defense distance.
I replaced the rubber grip with Altamonte rosewood basket weave, just big enough to allow for the pinky.

I'll probably be flamed for this… a smith and Wesson new departure…aka s&w safety hammerless…aka s&w lemonsqueezer! It's an antique chambered for .38 S&W and I have some meaty BP loads for it. It's slick, small, double action, and won't go off in a pocket nor snag due to its internal hammer and safety design. It's a very forward thinking design for it having been thought up in 1887. I believe mine is a 2nd model and made in the 1890s. All I gotta say is that it was designed to be used as a CCW and as far as I'm concerned it's every bit as lethal as it was back in the day.
