Just out of curiosity, how frequently do you change the recoil springs in your pistols?

Just as a general rule, I like to change the recoil spring and mainspring every couple of years. I don’t typically count rounds fired but I like to stay on the conservative side of things. I will change the recoil spring on my 1911’s depending on what ammo I happen to be shooting at the time. My target/ practice ammo needs a lighter spring than my social ammo does.
