I have real respect for match directors

I helped run our club's monthly match and spent more time problem-solving stage design than I expected. I have new respect for match directors. That's a lot of work for a lot of ungrateful shooters to ignore..

Running a match is like juggling cats, everyone wants it perfect but no one notices until it goes wrong. Respect earned.

  I helped run one of our club matches once and spent a three hours just on designing the stage, then another two getting it all set up and the shooters still managed to complain about one single target placement. It gave me a whole new respect for the directors, they're definitely underpaid and way underappreciated.
