Gun shop inventory?

I’m retired but I went back to work part time in a small gunshop. The main focus of the shop is repair work but we have some retail space also and sell a few guns.

We’re going to add some movable inventory, guns and accessories.

What do you good folks like to see when you walk into the local gun shop?

My thoughts are that a person should be able to walk in, buy a gun and be able to go from the shop straight to the range. Ready to shoot, maintain and securely store their new gun.

Honestly, good ammo selection and spare mags, there is nothing worse than buying a gun and hunting three stores for basics

I always appreciate when a shop stocks mags and ammo for the firearms on the shelf.

We ordered in a new selection of 67 guns, they should be in early this week. The next order will be ammo and cleaning supplies.

Stock holsters for the guns you sell, plus for the common types (glock, 1911, etc.)

Another thing you could do is set up some questions on surveymonkey.com and ask your clients what they want. Maybe offer 10% off for taking the survey.
