Hit up the Lake of the Ozarks last weekend for a little fishing getaway. It was just me and my buddy, and we were chasing after some bass. Water was pretty clear, and it hadn't rained much lately, so I thought we'd have a decent shot. Threw on some green pumpkin soft plastics and we had a few bites right off the bat. We managed to pull in a couple nice ones, but I missed a solid strike that had my heart racing. It was one of those days where things were just off enough to keep it interesting—lost another good one near the boat. All in all, we had a blast! How's everyone else doing?
