Decoy season

I've noticed an increase in trail cam footage showing these in action and it looks like they're really effective at attracting deer. For anyone who's added these to their hunting gear, which ones did you pick and what made you choose those?

One season, I tried using a motion decoy after seeing videos of it working on my trail cam. It actually worked once when the deer were in the rut but then it scared off a big buck during some heavy wind. Where you put things and what the conditions are matter a lot more than the name brand.

Deer are nosy by nature. A decent decoy just gives them an excuse to wander over and investigate.

My cousin uses Montana Decoy silhouettes during rifle season and swears deer react more to movement than how realistic they look. The lightweight gear really helps when hiking public land.

I have never used a decoy for deer hunting. I do have a Montana Decoy cow that I have used for pronghorn hunting, it works really well.
