The Shadow 2 is definitely on the heavier side for EDC, especially if you're used to lighter polymer models. You can really feel the weight on your belt so I wouldn't recommend it for quick trips unless you have a good holster and belt combo. But for OWB carry, at the range, or for those who value shootability over a super lightweight option, it really makes a lot of sense.
