Mine was a 90s Chevy Silverado. Up to this day this car is still running with 326k miles on it. We call him Blue.

First car I drove was a '56 Chevy Two-Ten, took my driver test in it in '62. I really learned to drive the farm truck first, a '49 Chevy grain truck I would take to feed the cattle. I had my own tractor at 8 or 9, I can't remember exactly.

The first thing I ever drove on blacktop was a ‘49 Chevy grain truck, I can remember sitting on dad’s lap steering and shifting while he worked the pedals because my legs were way too short. We had a ‘56 Chevy station wagon also but I don’t remember driving it. I was going back and forth to my job (shoveling horse 💩) on my motorcycle long before I had a driver’s license. I earned the $ for my first real vehicle selling furs I had trapped and putting up hay for our neighbors. I bought a 1967 Chevy II for $75.00 then I swapped it along with some more cash for a 1972 Jeep CJ5.
