Hey everyone, I thought it'd be great to start a thread where we can share our honest experiences with local gun shops. What makes a gun shop trustworthy to you? I've had both good and bad experiences, so it's been a learning curve for sure. If you've got a shop you really like or one to steer clear of, please share! Details about location, the used gun selection, prices, and transfer fees would be super helpful. You know, things that matter to us as buyers. Let's help each other out and keep our community informed!

I'd like to find either a gunshop or a 2A friendly machine shop in the St. Louis region that I can trust that has vertical mill CNC capabilities. I've machined a part as far as I can with my resources, but need to get some shallow lettering milled into the side of it. I've got a CAD file of what I need prepared, but don't have a CNC mill to do this. The shop that used to do this kind of stuff for me lost their operator and they don't have anyone else who can run their machine.

I hope you guys will consider coming to the shop I'm opening on the 4th of July in Winfield.
The shop is at 205 B Main Street (Hwy 79), Winfield, MO.
The grand opening is this coming weekend. This is a muzzleloader shop, only no modern firearms.

I recommend Gunners Firearms in Raymore, great people to do business with. If you have watched any God Family and Guns videos that is where they are recorded.
Maggie will make your day with her great personality and gun expertise.

Hi there, is your note in response to my looking for some minor CNC work? Thanks!

Oops! I guess not! I just looked up where Raymore, Mo. is. It's just a little farther than I'd want to drive fromSt. Louis. LOL!

It sounds like a great shop though!
Right, Gunners doesn't do any machining, and not in your area. I hope you find what you need.
