You might try Jay Henges, I’ve never shot there but my brother has. There’s also August A. Busch pretty close to you, never been there either but both are staffed ranges.

If you’re looking for a great outdoor experience and don’t mind a bit of a drive, I’d say MASSF is definitely the place to go. But if you want something that’s closer to home and you’re okay with being indoors, Alpine is a really solid choice too.

If you're on the western side of the state, you definitely need to check out Lake City Range near Blue Springs. The setup for rifle shooting is really nice, and it’s become a go-to spot for people who want to enjoy some quality time outdoors without spending a fortune.

Look at the MDC (Conservation) website. They list all of their public ranges and areas where you can shoot. Some are multi-use areas (hunting/fishing/hiking/trail riding ,etc. Few states have what we have. Most are great places to pick up empty brass (if you get there early).
