Making a Marlin Texan out of A Marlin 336Y

My neighbor has a machine shop in the garage. I have a Remington/Marlin 336y Youth 30-30 with short barrel and short butt stock. I wanted a Texan and asked him if he could cut down the pistol grip and slim down the wood stock. He came through in flying colors and it feels great! Before and after pics.
