We were pretty much at the epicenter of the heavy rains a couple of weeks ago. We had over 12.5” of rain in a few hours. Our house is on high ground so we were fortunate. Our power was off for 20 hours or so but that’s it. There were many people who lost everything they had. One young lady lost her life.
People are starting to rebuild but a lot of things have been forever changed. Many of our county roads are still impassable and it’s hard to get around in places. Fences were destroyed and there is a lot of livestock missing. It’s hard to believe the devastation. Hopefully none of our members had any damage.
