Did a little fishing yesterday

And came home with a limit of Montauk rainbows. It was a great morning on the spring branch.

That sounds like an amazing day on the water! Those fish really know how to put up a fight haha. And I can only imagine how magical that spring branch gets in the morning, especially when the mist is rolling in and the trout are out and about. Getting your limit is no easy task, so props to you for that.

I'm curious, what were they biting on? Spinners, flies, or some bait? I always love hearing what's working this time of year. Either way, it's great to know that Missouri's waters are treating you well.

I’m pretty sure I was using dough bait but I’m not above using jigs or spinners or even a fly rod if required. They are very fun to catch.
