I realized having a reliable multitool is essential. I've put them to use in all sorts of places, from the military to contracting jobs. When I’m out hiking, I’m a big fan of Swiss Army Knives, but for anything that requires real pliers or wire cutters, I always grab a multitool. For me, the ideal multitool has to have strong needle-nose pliers and cutters, decent scissors, a file, and definitely no tiny bits! My favorites are the Leatherman FREE P2/P4. The Surge is a powerhouse for heavy-duty tasks, while the Crunch is fantastic for vice-grip needs. They might not be the 'best' tools out there, but they sure do get the job done quickly.
So, what’s your go-to multitool, and what makes it your favorite?
