Not forgotten, but I had a Model 61 Winchester .22 that was stolen that I would like to replace one day.

A few "projects" I set aside over the years due to lack of parts and/or frustrations. Presently thinning the herd at gunshows rather than trying to part them out bit by bit, I'm tempted to pass them on in the same way we bought Harleys 50 years ago ..."Basket cases". Let someone else enjoy those projects while I at least know where the parts I have are together.
Try to find an original horn buttplate for a FN deluxe grade rifle or a tumbler for an 1850's percussion shotgun that will actually work. It has not happened after decades. There are others ....some more complete than the ones sitting beside the last.

I have an original horn FN buttplate around here somewhere. It’s got a couple of worm holes but it’s not terrible. If you need one I can see if I can find it.
